St Johns Lutheran Church & School in Wykoff is excited to host their 4th annual Winter Carnival on Saturday Feb 1st. Enjoy bounce houses, athletic challenges, bells of strength, mini gold, a cake walk, face painting, a balloon artist, carnival jail, concessions and more! $10 for a wristband & 10 tickets. Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Come and join the fun!
Learn to Curl
Rochester Rec Center – Feb 1 & 28
Learn-to-Curl is a great way to try out a brand new sport! You will have two hours of on-and-off ice instruction. Events take place at the Rochester Rec Center on February 1st and February 28th. You’ll learn how to throw a stone, how to sweep, some basic strategy and even have a chance to play a short game! Great for ages 15-80+! Cost is $30.
Social Ice 2025
Feb 7th & 8th from 4 to 10pm at Peace Plaza
Downtown Rochester will transform into an icy oasis during Social Ice, February 7th and 8th from 4 to 10pm at Peace Plaza. Enjoy unique-themed bars…each with its own signature drink…and full-scale ice sculptures illuminated with vibrant hues that light up the night. Keep your blood pumping with nightly live DJ entertainment, fire pits, photo booths and the FAM JAM family event Saturday from 1 to 4pm. This oh-so-nICE cold-weather event is free and open to the public.
Rochester Polar Plunge
Saturday February 8th at noon at Foster Arend Park
The Rochester Polar Plunge takes place Saturday February 8th at noon at Foster Arend Park. Day of registration begins at 10am. Presented by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, this is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Minnesota. Over its 23-year history, the Rochester Plunge has raised over $4 million! Get your team together and register…fundraise…and plunge!
Boys & Girls Club “A Chair Affair”
Saturday February 22nd from 5pm to 9pm at J.Powers at Hilton
Boys & Girls Club of Rochester will once again host “A Chair Affair”, presented by Mayo Clinic. The event will take place at J.Powers at the Hilton on Saturday Feb 22nd from 5pm to 9pm. Step under the mirror ball with the glitz and glamour of a disco era revival as you support local youth and programs for the arts. There will be pulsating beats, captivating entertainment, bold and creative cuisine and an auction of artisan-made chairs. There’s even an After Party hosted by Rochester Art Center. General admission and VIP tickets as well as Table Host packages to “A Chair Affair” are on sale now.

The Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is an out-of-school program that empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring community members. Their membership is open to youth from K to Grade 12.
